Port Moresby just hosted the 2020 Security Congress from 2 to 4 March at the Stanley Hotel. ECM saw this year’s congress as the perfect platform to showcase its improved and increased security technology capability, integrated with Black Swan International. The team are very proud to be awarded the PNG Security Congress Best Display Award for 2020. Especially pleasing for the team was knowing that, during the opening of the Congress, Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Hon. James Marape had taken the time to visit the ECM and BSI combined display.
Aaron Butt, ECM’s and BSI’s Senior Security Technology Advisor was on hand over the 2 days to give live demonstrations of the cameras, PC monitoring software (including remote camera management), and mobile apps to the many visitors who stopped by the combined displays. He was able to let visitors not only see but try for themselves the smart capabilities for remote management and notifications including the intercom-mobile phone link, 2-way conversations with the door station and remote door operation. Each demonstration was followed by a Q&A session where Aaron explained some of the intricacies and advanced functions of the displayed Security Technology network and possible residential, commercial and industrial applications.
The collaboration and services being offered across the congress were amongst some of the most sophisticated and modern security solutions available. As a returning company it is great to see the increased capabilities PNG now has on hand to reduce risk and protect assets.
